Selective Trial Reference Database
A collaborative resource gathering percentile data from students who have completed the Selective Test, offering parents better insight into entry requirements for Selective Schools across NSW.
This database is collected from voluntary community submissions to provide a transparent view of the percentiles students typically need to secure a place at a Selective School. Entries are verified to the best of our ability, though occasional discrepancies may appear.
Note: A student's raw score can differ from another student in the same percentile. Percentile bands depend on the overall cohort's performance, which means in a particularly competitive year, even strong performers may land in a lower band.
Reading the Table
- Year — The intended year of entry into the selective high school
- Numbers — These represent the performance bands a student achieved in each section
- Outcome — The result from the initial release of placement results (does not reflect later reserve list movements)
