The NSW Selective High School Placement Test is a competitive computer-based exam for Year 6 students seeking entry to one of NSW's prestigious Selective High Schools. Each of the four sections — Reading, Mathematical Reasoning, Thinking Skills and Writing — contributes 25% to the final placement score.
Performance is reported in four bands: Top 10%, Next 15%, Next 25% and Lowest 50%. This calculator compares your child's bands against historical outcomes from past cohorts to estimate likely entry at each school.
