2025 NSW NEW Selective Style Online Format 

11 full sets of New Selective Thinking Skills Questions – Time Scored. 
11 full sets of New Selective Mathematical Reasoning Questions- Time Scored.
11 full sets of New Selective Reading Questions – Time Scored.

Thinking Skills: Each set has 40 questions, and the student needs to complete them within 40 minutes.

Mathematical Reasoning: Each set has 35 questions, and the student needs to complete them within 40 minutes.

Reading Comprehension: each set has 16 questions (16 (2 questions have multiple parts to answer), and the student needs to complete them within 40 minutes.

ALL question sets are based on the Cambridge Assessment Test Format.

Calculators and dictionaries are not allowed.

New Online Format :

The complete set of practice exams includes various question types that closely resemble those found in the actual selective school exams. These Selective Trials are designed to mirror the current format of the latest Selective High School Placement Test, ensuring students are well-prepared for the structure and timing of the actual test. Each test is structured with strict time management, allowing students to experience the same pacing and pressure they would face in an authentic Australian selective test environment.   Practice Questions:

We recommend every student start with revision questions first, then slowly go to Time scored Question BANK. As per the NSW and Australian Curriculum, we published our question bank for Selective in the new style and format. Our revision question bank covers all the chapters and maintains them accordingly. If your child does wrong on any particular question, you can practice similar questions again.

Online One-to-One Personalised Tutoring:

We are ecstatic to announce that we are providing one-to-one personalised tutoring along with the trial question. We will mainly clear the concept of students struggling with a topic in the test. This online classroom has an advanced whiteboard, audio video, and screen-sharing capabilities.

 Writing Test Evaluation:

In our package, we are offering a writing test where the students will log in (in their own account, which is provided by Selective Trials) to our Learning Management Portal and go to the course from where they take the Exam in the same place student will have the option to submit their writing test. Our experienced Australian English tutor evaluates each writing test in detail as per the Australian Curriculum.

 Review:

Without feedback, getting the same question right without any help is impossible. Feedback is crucial when building up your child’s stamina to get the same type of question right the next Time. Also, find out why your child got the question wrong in the first place and fix it to grant them entry into their dream school. The final result from the Exam will be a function of your child’s capabilities. Parents can view the student’s performance relative to their peers and see the performance per question type and topic.
