5. Discussion Writing
6. Persuasive Writing

Students must choose each writing task and submit their completed work in either Word or PDF format for assessment. Once a submission is made, our experienced team will review and mark the writing within three to four working days, providing timely feedback to support ongoing improvement. Each student can submit up to four writing pieces at any point during their 90-day subscription period, allowing them to practice and receive feedback at their own pace. However, it’s important to note that the final writing submission should be made no later than seven days before the end of the course. This submission schedule ensures that each piece receives thorough, constructive feedback while allowing students ample time to apply what they have learned and refine their writing skills for the Selective School Entry Test.
Within 90 days of the membership date, a total of 8 writing tasks may be used.
Before you begin writing – think carefully about what you need to say and how the layout and arrangement of your writing may help to express your message clearly.
Things to remember :
- Writing will be judged on how well you can select, develop and organise prompts and ideas and communicate them efficiently and effectively in writing.
- Structure and creativity.
- Use sophisticated vocabulary.
- Focus on grammar and spelling.
